ARRIVAL & GETTING AROUND

Less travel planning.
More holiday.

A practical guide to getting from Tenerife South Airport to Golden View, and finding your way around Costa Adeje.

Start with the right destination

Golden View is at Balcón del Atlántico, Calle Asturias, Costa Adeje. Save your booking confirmation and the host’s arrival instructions before you fly. The complex name alone may not identify the correct entrance, so keep the apartment directions available offline.

If you arrive at Tenerife North rather than Tenerife South, plan that transfer separately. The airports are different journeys; do not use a Tenerife South transfer estimate for a northern arrival.

Taking a taxi from Tenerife South

A taxi is a straightforward option when you have suitcases or want to travel directly to your accommodation. Aena advises using the signed taxi rank at the airport terminal and avoiding drivers offering rides elsewhere.

Show the driver your full destination and confirm the fare arrangements before departure. Ask about luggage, child seats or a larger vehicle if needed. We do not publish a fixed fare because charges and journey conditions can change.

TITSA bus 40: airport to Costa Adeje

TITSA’s route 40 connects Tenerife South Airport with Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje bus station. It is an option if you prefer public transport and can manage the onward journey with your luggage.

Costa Adeje bus station is not the apartment. Plan the remaining journey to Calle Asturias separately; a taxi from the station may be the simplest choice after a flight. Check the official timetable for your arrival date, including the time needed to collect luggage.

Late arrivals and the return journey

If your flight arrives late, check the airport routes on TITSA’s website rather than assuming the daytime service will still be running. The operator also lists route 711 as a night service; verify its current stops and timetable for your journey.

For your flight home, allow time for the trip to the airport, check-in and security. If you book a transfer, confirm the pickup point and luggage capacity in advance.

Getting around during your stay

A car can be useful for island excursions, but you may prefer a mixture of taxis, buses and walking for local plans. Check parking arrangements with the host before hiring a car. For walks, consider the gradient as well as the distance, especially in warm weather or with pushchairs.

Save the apartment location on your phone and check your route before setting off. For beach and restaurant trips, it helps to plan how you will get home as well as how you will get there.

Make room for your Tenerife holiday.
